  Money is really a necessity in todays' world.  Most people worry about money and wish that they had more of it.  Money allows you to get and do things that you need to and want to for ourselves, our families and others.  The problem is that alot of people have negative beliefs about money and wealthy people.  This is true especially for people who consider themselves spiritual.  The negative beliefs may be that money is evil and rich people are greedy or self centered.  Spiritual people tend to feel that money and material possessions do not have any real value or importance.  It is the "higher" ideals of compassion, service, love, self sacrifice and wisdom that spiritual people believe are more important. The additional belief is that this will lead to happiness.  As a result most people have a negative and exclusive "either / or" mentality.  Either you are spiritual or you are rich.  Either you are happy or wealthy.  These beliefs are arbitrary as nothing has meaning except for the meaning that you give it.   Your beliefs are not based on actual experiences, but rather on your personal interpretation or misinterpretation of those experiences. So, most of you beliefs about money and success were developed from the messages and role modeling that you received from your parents.  Your beliefs about money are probably the exact same or complete opposite of your parents beliefs.  Your money beliefs were also created from specific incidents involving money and your interpretation of those incidents.  So, it is possible to change your beliefs about money and success, which is called your money "blueprint".

Alot of spiritual people have difficulty with doing or buying things to benefit themselves, but there is abundance in the universe.  There is more than enough for you to have and do wonderful things AND help others.  An amazing concept is of becoming rich and wealthy, so that you can do MORE to help others.  This way you can have a huge impact on improving the world and helping others.  Think of what Oprah has done like creating a school for disadvantaged children in Africa.  People who are compassionate generally donate a small amount of money to a charity each year or they may even volunteer two hours a month.  Their ability to help others is limited by their time and money.  If you were financially free and wealthy, then you can do alot more to help others.  You are only limited by your imagination!  What causes or people are you interested in helping?  Homeless people, animals, disadvantaged children, the environment, family or friends?  You can volunteer everyday if you want or donate large amounts of money to make a large difference in the lives of others. You can create you own charity or foundation to help a specific cause of your choice.  The possibilities are endless.
